Trombone: Cesar Miguel Martín

Cesar Miguel Martin

Born in Salamanca, he starts his musical education with the trombone at the Conservatorio Profesional of the mentioned town, continuing it later, mostly with lessons from Santiago Rojo Cordero. In 2004 he finishes a master degree at the Conservatorio Superior of Salamanca with high honors, having been pupil of José Álvaro Martínez. He has finished several improvement courses with Baltasar Perelló, Branimir Slokar, Pedro Botías, Simeón Galduf, Juan Bautista Abad, Indalecio Bonet, and Ricardo Casero. He has been part of various ensembles, like the Banda Municipal of Salamanca, Banda Municipal of Alba de Tormes, Joven Orquesta Sinfónica "Antonio Machado" of Salamanca, and the Symphonic Orchestra of the Conservatorio Superior of Salamanca, under direction of conductors of the stature of Lutz Köhler and James Ross. Besides, he has collaborated with the Universidad de Valladolid Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Conservatorio Popular of Manheim, and the RTVE Orchestra.

As part of the Quinteto de Metales ensemble of the Conservatorio Superior of Salamanca, he has been selected for the "Jóvenes en concierto" concert programme in Castilla y León, and also for the INJUVE "Circuitos de música". He also carries out an intense jazz activity in the Amajazz Big Band, and in the Sabor Latín Ensemble of Salamanca. At present, he is Trombone teacher at the Escuela Municipal de Música of Peñaranda de Bracamonte (Salamanca).
