Born in Madrid in February, 1976. While finishing her high degree music years, she attends the Escuela de Víctor Ullate (current director of the Ballet de la Comunidad de Madrid), taking lessons from great teachers like José Parés, Karemia Moreno, Menia Martínez, Aurora Bosch, Víctor Ullate and María Jiménez (National Award of Dancing).
She gets a degree from the Conservatoire of The Hague (Holland) and after obtaining her Master Degree from the Alicia Alonso Chair of Madrid, she joins the cast of Las Sílfides y Giselle (where she plays the "Mother" of Giselle, performed by Tamara Rojo) with the Ballet de la Comunidad de Madrid. Also, she takes part in El lago de los cisnes with the Ballet Nacional de Cuba during its performances in Madrid, and has attended rehearsals with the Tanztheater Wuppertal Company of Pina Bausch (Germany). After finishing a Degree in Journalism at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid, she combines both careers writing dance criticism for the Por la danza review, starting in 1997.
Later, she studies Performance at the RESAD, where she takes lessons from Charo Amador, Ángel Gutiérrez, Concha Doñaque, Arnold Taraborrelli, Vicente Fuentes, and Joaquín Campomanes, among others. Her monologue of Séneca's Casandra in the third year was selected to represent the Escuela at the International Theatre Contest of the Mediterranean, held in Siracusa. She obtains her degree with the highest marks in 2003, and her qualifying work, Garbo ríe, is re-premièred by request of the RESAD at its García Lorca Hall, now as a professional show. As an actress she has recently premièred Fedra, by Jean Racine, with Rosa Novell and Lluís Homar, under the direction of Joan Ollé for the Teatro Clásico of Madrid (May, 2004), starting, with this work, a tour through several theatre festivals of classic theatre across Spain.
In spite of having choreographed, from her beginning in the world of dancing, both solos (Vivia errante, Silphides, Muerte del Cisne) and choral pieces for the Escuela de Víctor Ullate (Cuadros para una exposición), as well as collaborations in direction works at the RESAD (Elena Andréievna, El almacén de novias), animation shows for Barceló S.A. (La bella y la bestia, Los miserables, El Jorobado de Nôtre Dame) and ice-skating pieces (Love is a vampiro, Tango, El Mago de Oz, Momo), it is in Garbo ríe where movement, performance, gesture and dance come together into a language of her own, and where she begins, as a creator, her most personal research. With this work, she has started a tour through La Rioja and Pamplona, after performing in the Festival Alternativo de las Artes Escénicas of the Comunidad de Madrid, Escena Contemporánea 2004. At the present time, she paticipates as a choreographer inThe Soldier's Tale for the "Ciudad de León" Concert Hall (June, 2004), and prepares the scenic movement of Danny & Roberta, Una danza apalache, directed by Mariano Paco for La Cuarta Pared.
